Sand Hollow Resevoir

We finally got to take our boat out to the lake last night for FHE with our friends Lindsey and Jason Graf. The weather was beautiful and the water was almost as still as glass. My kids LOVE going to the lake. They had perma-grins the whole time. Hooray for the lake and warm weather!!!!

Stairs

I was not expecting to have to worry about stairs with Brynlee at only SIX MONTHS! This is how I found her when I walked in the family room this afternoon.... trying to go up the stairs.
She wants to keep up with her older brother and sister so bad, but I really want her to stay a baby longer. I guess it is time to go buy a gate.

Family Home Evening

For Family Home Evening "Pa Pa" taught the kids about plants and how to grow various things.

First they learned how to mix the soil

Then they got to pick out their seeds: peas, pumpkin, and radishes, and plant them in little bowls.

Then they planted strawberries in pots

And in the garden

Last they planted pumpkin seeds in the back corner of the yard.

Thank you so much Pa Pa. We had so much fun. You are the best!!!

Cookie Salad...Yummy!

If anyone wants a fabulous treat for Conference weekend, you have to try this one. I got the recipe from one of favorite friends Lindsey T. and it is always the hit of any party. The best part is you can make it in under 5 minutes! So delicious.

Cookie Fruit Salad
* 1 1/2 C Buttermilk
* 1 large box of instant Vanilla pudding
* 1 large tub of Cool Whip
* Your choice of fruit ( I use 2 cans of tropical fruit, 2 cans of fruit cocktail, 2 cans of mandarin oranges, and 1 can of pineapple tidbits)
* 1 package of striped shortbread cookies

Put buttermilk and pudding mix into large bowl and whisk together. Fold in cool whip. Add fruit (make sure it is well drained) Break cookies into large pieces, put it in the bowl and stir.

Whoever thought of adding cookies to fruit salad is a genius if you ask me. Try it, you will thank me. Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!

I love living in St. George!!!

We had such a fun weekend. The weather was so nice this last weekend, and the Terry's let us come swimming in their new fun pool. How many people can go swimming in March? Lindsey also taught Autumn how to swim all by herself. It only took her about fifteen minutes. Thanks Linds!!!!

Darling Brynlee Paige

I don't know about the rest of you but I just can't get enough of this little doll.
