My right hand girl.

I honestly don't know what I would do without my Autumn.

Congratulations to my cute little graduates 2008

So the kids are done with preschool. They were able to go to school together this year at Barefoot Montessori. Autumn learned how to read this year and Carson is doing great with math. We enjoyed watching them show us all the fun things they learned this year.

The newest member of the (extended) Bishop family

Abrielle Shay Butler
Ryan's sister Shelene...the proud mom
Shelene had her baby last week and she is absolutely beautiful. She has lots of hair, perfect little chubby cheeks, and big eyes. Mom and baby are doing great.

Happy Birthday Micah

It was my neices birthday last week and we celebrated at Olive Garden. Micah is such an amazing teenager. I hope that my girls turn out as wonderful as she is.

Pictures for Grandma Christensen

My mom is hard to buy for, so this year Jonathan's wife Susan and I had the brilliant idea of getting a picture of all her grandkids taken. Of course we waited until two days before Mothers Day and Kiddie Kandids was a MAD HOUSE to say the least. I felt so bad for the poor girls working there who had to deal with people like us trying to get way too many little kids to all look at the camera at the same time and smile. After many frustrating hours we got a couple of half way decent pictures and called it good for the day. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I was exhausted when we were done.
It was all worth it when my mom started crying when she got the pictures. I know she loves her grandkids so much and they love her so much too. They would rather be at her house than anywhere else. She is the best mom and grandma ever.

Mothers Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day this year. Ryan and the kids spoiled me. I got all day Saturday to do whatever I wanted while Ryan took the kids. He went grocery shopping, cleaned the house, and made dinner. Sunday I got breakfast in bed which consisted of strawberry and raspberry crepes (my absolute favorite), chocolate milk, candy, flowers, and cards. I also got a new cell phone, perfume, and diamond earrings. It couldn't have been a better day.

Being a wife and a mother has been the most incredible blessing in my life. I am so grateful to have such a perfect husband that takes such good care of our family and such a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. And then to have healthy, smart, beautiful kids that I love more than I thought was humanly possible. I am truely happy and love being a mom.

Thank you Ryan, Autumn, Carson, and Brynlee for such a great day. I love you.

Gymnastics Review

The kids had their gymnastics review last week. Gym day is always their favorite day of the week, and they were so excited to show us all that they had learned this year. I was quite impressed.
This is Carson getting his award for "Great Balance"
Autumn won an award for "Great Cartwheels"
chin ups
Fabulous bar skills
Look at that balance!!!
Ta Da!!

Look at that cute boy!

Imagination

I love little kids and their imaginations. Autumn, Kaden, Carson, and Kyler came down dressed up and told me to sit down and get ready for the "play". Of course Autumn was in charge and told the rest of them what to do and say. She and Kaden were married and had a baby and Kyler and Carson were the bad guys trying to get them. It was hilarious to watch. (Check out the sweet shoes on Kaden)

My beautiful sister Cambri

My little sister Cambri graduates from High School this month. Cambri is so pretty and is so much fun to be around. I have always wished I was more like her. She might be moving away for college and I don't want her to go. I would miss her so bad.

Carson's Birthday

A birthday isn't a birthday at our house without lunch at McDonalds. Kaden Kyler Carter and Rory met us there. He was beyond happy about this.

At school he got to wear the special birthday hat and pass out treats. They sang the cutest song about the earth going around the sun four times while he held a globe and walked in a circle around a giant light (sun).

The big birthday bash started right after school with swimming, slip n slides, water balloons, bubbles, games, candy, and cupcakes.

This is the kids chanting... "hotter hotter hotter" Apparently the water was a bit chilly and Ryan wasn't bring the buckets of hot water fast enough.

Spiderman masks

Silly Faces

Opening one of MANY presents.
Immediately after the friend party was the family party. We ate more sugar, opened more presents, and had lots of fun.

The birthday boy got his very own cake. When I was tucking him in that night he asked me with his eyes half way shut- "How much longer till my next birthday?" I told him 365 days, to which he replied.. "that is a long time...how much longer till Chrismas?" I think he was asleep before I could answer.

Early Mothers Day breakfast

Autumn and I were talking about Mothers Day this morning and all of a sudden she said she had a surprise for me and ran out of the room. She came back five minutes later with a bowl of Honeybunches of Oats with Strawberries, a big glass of water, a blanket, and a little handmade card that she had just made. She told me that she had made me breakfast in bed and that I was the best mom in the whole wide world. She also told me that she was going to take care of me for the rest of the weekend. All I can say is WOW!! I am pretty sure that she is the cutest little five year old ever.
(It is moments like this that make me so grateful to be a mom)

Pepé Le Pew

When we were running this morning, Lindsey and I came face to face with a SKUNK!! Seriously I was so scared. I couldn't move and then tears started coming out of my eyes. It finally trotted the other way and when it was out of sight, I ran like the wind all the way home.

Four Years Ago Today

May 6th, 2002. After 26 hours of labor my cute little Carson was born.

6 lbs 8 oz 19 inches long (skinny little thing)
We were so excited to add a little brother to the family
Carson has always been such a sweet kid. He will tell my all day long how much he loves me. He has the ability to melt my heart. Carson...We love you so much
Happy Birthday!

Spiderman Cake

Check out my sweet cake making skills! Carson wanted a spiderman cake for his birthday this year and this is what we came up with. It was so much fun to make. I don't think Carson was all that impressed but I am pretty proud of it. I couldn't wait to take a picture of it so I could put it on our blog. I LOVE birthdays and everything that goes with them!!!!!!!!!

Mothers Day Tea Party

I got to go to a Mothers Day tea party at Autumn and Carson's school yesterday. We had so much fun. They made the cutest cards with pictures of themselves holding flower suckers. (cute idea)

Then they showed us all the songs they have been working so hard on. They have been learning sign language this year. It was adorable to watch.
Next the kids that are reading read us the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see? Autumn is reading so so well. It is amazing. I am SO proud of her!! The cute girl next to Autumn is her friend Chole. (We love Wednesdays because we get to play with Chloe on that day.)
Last we got to have a picnic on our blankets. The kids served me fruit, cheese and crackers, and yummy cookies.
This is Kaden and Kyler Terry. My kids seriously think they cannot live 2 minutes with these cute boys. Their poor mom Lindsey has my kids playing at house every available second. I don't blame them. Their house is the funnest!!!!
